You don't need:
You can register as a patient at St Georges Road Surgery if you live in Coventry, Rugby, Stratford-on-Avon, Nuneaton, or Warwick. We accept all patients who live within the Coventry and Warwickshire ICB.
We can only offer home visits to your address if you live within our catchment area. If you are primarily housebound or require visits to your home, our service will not be suitable.

Once you’ve registered, if you qualify for an NHS Health Check you will be invited to attend one. This allows you to take actions to reduce your risk of developing serious conditions like heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, type 2 diabetes and some types of dementia.
Your assessment includes a health questionnaire, a check to ensure any repeat medications are up to date, in-person observations (such as measuring your blood pressure, pulse check, and BMI), blood tests (if clinically necessary and you’re aged between 40 and 74), and a consultation with a healthcare assistant to discuss your overall health and wellness.
At the end of your assessment, you’ll receive personalised advice to help you enjoy a healthier life for longer. And if needed, we can also book you in for a follow-up consultation.
You cannot be registered with two NHS GP surgeries at the same time. When your registration with St Georges Road Surgery gets accepted by the NHS, you will no longer be registered at your previous NHS GP surgery.
You should register with a local GP if you’re a student and you spend the majority of your time at your university address. You can then get quick and easy access to care when. This is particularly important if you have a long-term health condition and need regular medication reviews.
